Laurel has spent over a decade in the financial industry, specifically the branch banking industry. Starting as a teller at Chase, she moved to KeyBank as a personal banker before concluding her banking career as a branch manager at Trustco.

Laurel earned her bachelor's degree at SUNY Albany and her master's degree in education at Long Island University. After being unable to get her foot in the door as an educator due to a hiring freeze, Laurel decided to pursue a career in the banking industry, where she felt she could apply her teaching and communication skills to client relationships. 

Multi-tasking has always been a strength of Laurel's. She is highly organized and detail-oriented, attributes she applies to her role as Office Manager of Riolo Financial Group. 

Laurel grew up in Rockland County and still lives in Nanuet, NY. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends (who have become family), dancing, cooking, and going to Yankee games and concerts. She has also recently taken up gardening.
